Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Santa Clarita, CA. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage land development and public works projects from conception through completion.
  • Supervise and guide engineering design teams, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, public agency personnel, and in-house staff.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets while ensuring the successful execution of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work.
  • Collaborate with clients and public agencies, providing insights on regulatory issues and technical requirements.
  • Perform site assessments, engineering design studies, and constructability reviews.
  • Prepare and process regulatory and public improvement plans, supporting both public agencies and capital improvement projects.
  • Ensure project compliance with local jurisdictional processes and regulatory standards in Los Angeles and Ventura County.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in land development and/or public works, or 12 years of equivalent experience in the industry.
  • At least 8 years of management experience overseeing engineers, designers, and project support staff.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills, with experience in managing project teams and client interactions.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Projects, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong technical background in site assessment, engineering design, regulatory approvals, and construction support services.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong independent thinking, leadership, and management abilities.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and contracts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and public agencies.
  • Expertise in CAD systems and preparing detailed plans, studies, and exhibits.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, staff, and public agencies.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles, strategic planning, resource allocation, and team coordination.
