Position Summary
AIS is seeking experienced Data Center Electricians to support the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical systems within data center and mission-critical facilities. This position requires extensive travel and the ability to work in fast-paced construction environments while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
Responsibilities
Install conduit, cable tray, and electrical raceway systems.
Pull and terminate power and control wiring.
Install switchgear, transformers, panelboards, UPS systems, and backup power equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical drawings.
Assist with equipment startup, testing, and commissioning activities.
Install grounding and bonding systems.
Maintain compliance with NEC standards and project specifications.
Work collaboratively with project managers, foremen, and other trades.
Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
Previous data center, mission-critical, or industrial construction experience preferred.
Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of NEC codes and safety regulations.
- Experience with conduit bending, cable pulling, and equipment installation.
- An active Journeyman's Electrician's License in the State of Work.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Ability to travel extensively for project assignments.
- National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E – Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, climb ladders, and work in various construction environments.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required by project schedules.
