We are looking for a dynamic and driven Manager/Director of Datacenters to join our team and play a pivotal role in growing our client relationships and ensuring top-tier service delivery.

Position Overview

The Manager/Director of Datacenters will oversee the daily operations, scheduling, and project management of multiple data center construction and operational projects within the Dallas–Fort Worth region. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, workforce management, and strict adherence to industry safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, labor coordination, and subcontractor performance on multiple data center sites.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and site-specific deliverables to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Act as primary liaison between clients, general contractors, and internal leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and support site managers, foremen, and labor teams.
  • Develop and enforce operational procedures, quality standards, and safety policies in accordance with OSHA, local, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor job site conditions, manpower needs, and work progress to proactively address issues.
  • Ensure contract, scope of work, and regulatory compliance at all times.
  • Oversee resource allocation, equipment needs, and material procurement.
  • Support business development and estimating teams with project scoping and proposals when required.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, project documentation, and operational dashboards.
  • Uphold strong working relationships with vendors, clients, and municipal authorities.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • 5+ years of proven management experience in data center construction, mission-critical environments, or large-scale commercial/industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, structured cabling, and security systems.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent job sites and subcontractor crews.
  • Solid understanding of OSHA and job site safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools, construction scheduling software, and productivity platforms.
  • Ability to manage budgets, track KPIs, and prepare executive-level reports.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

Preferred

  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Prior experience working on hyperscale or colocation data center projects.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar software.
