Operations Manager (Datacenter-structured cabling)
About Us
Archetype Infrastructure Solutions is a U.S.-based subcontracting company specializing in structured cabling and low-voltage labor services for data center builds and telecom infrastructure projects. With operations across Texas, Arizona, Virginia, and other high-growth markets, we are scaling rapidly and looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced Remote Operations Manager to join our leadership team.
Who We’re Looking For
We need someone with real-world experience in the telecom, structured cabling, or data center industry — ideally someone who has coordinated workforce deployment, tracked job timelines, and managed multiple technical crews across multiple projects.
This is not a virtual assistant role. This is an opportunity to lead the daily operations of a company doing $5M+ in revenue, coordinate tech deployments, track job performance, and keep the business running efficiently across multiple U.S. cities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily job deployment schedules for fiber/cabling technicians and project leads
Track timelines, crew assignments, and materials across 10–20 simultaneous jobs
Coordinate with internal recruiters, dispatchers, and project managers
Update and maintain our ClickUp/Airtable dashboards with live project status
Collect and organize time sheets, labor logs, and project costs for invoicing
Follow up with techs and leads to ensure job quality and adherence to client requirements
Prepare daily and weekly operational reports for the CEO
Assist in streamlining SOPs and operational documentation
Work with the CEO on scaling processes, project forecasting, and workforce planning
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years experience in operations, project coordination, or field management in:
Structured cabling / low voltage
Fiber optics / telecom installations
Data center infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of telecom workflows: drops, patch panels, terminations, rack and stack, fiber pulls, etc.
Familiarity with U.S. business operations (labor schedules, compliance tracking, job costing)
Fluent in English (spoken and written) — must be able to communicate clearly with U.S.-based teams
Experience with tools like ClickUp, Airtable, Monday.com, Slack, and Google Workspace
Bonus Qualifications
Technical background (e.g., former field tech or project engineer)
Prior experience working with U.S. staffing or contracting companies
Knowledge of OSHA/jobsite safety practices
Ability to work U.S. hours (or partial overlap)
