We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Senior to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, providing tax compliance and consulting services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, research, planning, and excellent client service skills. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax services, managing multiple projects, and building lasting client relationships.

- Perform complex tax preparation, tax research, and tax planning under the direction of a manager or supervisor
- Provide work supervision and technical guidance to less experienced staff
- Communicate with clients to gather information and documentation, addressing tax matters appropriately
- Prepare individual income tax returns (intermediate to advanced levels)
- Prepare entity income tax returns (intermediate to advanced levels) including C & S Corporations, Partnerships, LLCs, Non-Profits, Trusts, and Estates
- Prepare tax provision schedules, review, and consolidate provision schedules
- Manage multiple client projects effectively with direction from managers
- Review tax returns prepared by less experienced staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their business and tax needs
- Maintain project files and documentation by interpreting and implementing new or revised tax laws and regulations
- Ensure accurate application of accounting principles in tax return preparation
- Identify and document control deficiencies or other significant matters that require management attention
- Participate in professional development, including continuing education and networking with peers
- Contribute to timely and accurate time entry, billing, and collection processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 3-5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax
- Candidate must have satisfied the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam and be prepared to obtain CPA certification within 18 months of starting employment
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients
